W ramach ciągu dalszego przenosin zdjęć ze starej wersji www - w dzisiejszym odcinku wystąpi Chemnitz, zwane w języku polskim Kamienicą Saską. W tramwajowym świecie miasto to słynie przede wszystkim z istnienia tu do 1988 roku rozbudowanej sieci tramwajów poruszających się po torach o prześwicie 925 mm. Już w 1960 otwarto jednak pierwszą linię o rozstawie szyn 1435 mm, z zamiarem przekucia na tor normalny wszystkich tras. Projekt, charakteryzujący się manią wielkości (wystarczy spojrzeć na skrajnię przebudowanych tras oraz korzystające z nich pojazdy - Tatry T3D, zamiast standardowych dla Niemiec węższych o 30 cm T4D, oraz Variobahny o szerokości 2,65 m pozbawione na dodatek skosów, co wymusza jeszcze większą skrajnię w łukach), upadł w latach 80-tych. Współczesna siatka linii tramwajowych obejmuje zatem tylko południową część miasta. Pomimo takiego - uzasadnionego bądź nie - rozwoju sytuacji, tutejsza komunikacja zbiorowa prezentuje raczej poziom "niemiecki", choć tramwaje sprawiają wrażenie jazdy opłotkami - ale to chyba wina ogólnego zagospodarowania przestrzennego miasta.

Pomimo takiego - uzasadnionego bądź nie - rozwoju sytuacji, tutejsza komunikacja zbiorowa prezentuje raczej poziom "niemiecki", choć tramwaje sprawiają wrażenie jazdy opłotkami - ale to chyba wina ogólnego zagospodarowania przestrzennego miasta.
