Sztywniak

W latach 2001-2005 Amsterdam zakupił 150 tramwajów Combino od Siemensa. Pomimo swojego wieku wagony nie wyglądają na zmęczone, lecz dowodzi to tylko ich jakości, ponieważ życia z pewnością nie mają łatwego. Tutejsza sieć jest bardzo kręta oraz "powyginana" w pionie, a motorniczowie swoich pojazdów wcale nie oszczędzają. Dziwi więc trochę wybór tramwajów sztywnowózkowych.
Wracając do zdjęcia - widać tu typowy obrazek z mostu nad kanałem, jakich w Amsterdamie jest pewnie setki. Dla zwiększenia prześwitu pod mostem, większość z nich jest wygięta w niemały łuk. Sztywne Combino ma, jak widać, tylko jeden pionowy przegub. Czasem miałem wrażenie, że tramwaj zaraz przerysuje nawierzchnię podłogą czwartego członu, a było blisko - gdy pod tramwaj wpadła plastikowa butelka, to już szorowała kostkę zablokowana pod podłogą tramwaju.
