Pociąg podmiejski do Lizbony Rossio opuszcza stację Sintra - "kolejowy koniec świata" położony kilka kilometrów od Przylądka Roca, nie będący jednak najbardziej wysuniętą na zachód stacją kolejową w Europie, w tej bowiem kategorii wygrywa niedalekie Cascais (nieco na południe, na innej linii wybiegającej z Lizbony). Skład pociągu zestawiony jest z dwóch jednostek serii 2300, wyprodukowanych przez Sorefame-Siemens w liczbie 42 sztuk w 1993 roku i obsługujących połączenia właśnie na linii do Sintry. Dosyć charakterystyczną kwestią jest obsługa każdej z czterech lizbońskich linii podmiejskich innymi pojazdami, rozpoznawalnymi dla laika po kolorystyce czoła, chociaż jest to akurat mylące względem oznaczeń na schematach komunikacyjnych, ponieważ ta akurat linia nosi tam kolor zielony, a linia czerwona kursuje w innym kierunku.
