Choć jak się głębiej zastanowić, specyficzny efekt powolnego wytracania prędkości - tak aby "złapać" klockami koła przy prędkości rzędu 10 km/h bardzo delikatnie - jaki obserwowałem podróżując tym składem, mógł przecież wynikać ze stylu jazdy konkretnego maszynisty. W każdym razie bliźniacze jednostki serii 460 (na =3kV), którymi też miałem przyjemność trochę pojeździć, zachowywały się nieco inaczej.
