Pojazdy obsługujące trzecią linię madryckiego "lekkiego metra" niezbyt szczęśliwie mijają się między przystankami Retamares i Cocheras. Uruchomiona w 2007 roku trasa łączy zachodnie przedmieścia stolicy Hiszpanii ze stacją metra ale nie bardzo wiadomo po co to robi, ponieważ wiedzie w znacznej części przez wielkie nic. Nowe biurowce, centra handlowe i fabryki wraz z towarzyszącą im przewymiarowaną infrastrukturą drogową (zbudowaną przy okazji kładzenia szyn - taki paradoks) sprawiają wprawdzie wrażenie, jakby w przyszłości miało się tam cokolwiek rozwinąć, ale jak na sześć lat funkcjonowania tramwaju wygląda to bardzo słabo. Obrazu dopełniają nietrafione rozwiązania w zakresie infrastruktury, jak na przykład połączenie dwóch długich prostych z vmax = 70 km/h niczym nieuzasadnionym (wszak wokół jest pusto) ciasnym łukiem z ograniczeniem prędkości do 15 lub 20 km/h.
